Guess what? There’s an extra Members free item that has been released in the Haunted House along with the Pumpkin Head. It’s called the Silly Scarecrow Suit and is located up the right staircase of the house. Hmmm… another members item, without no notice? I hope they give another item, but this time for non-members.
Technically, I don’t see how it’s supposed to be silly. Maybe it’s supposed to go with the Pumpkin Head!
Well, the Halloween Party kicked off on Monday, and goes until November 1st. And in the newspaper there’s the Halloween Party Highlights. It’s a mini-tour-round in the newspaper! It tells you what is where in rooms. It tells you where the Slime Mine is, Haunted House, where the Night of the Living Sled III is playing, and the Costume Show!
Club Penguin is experiencing its strongest storm ever recorded. While we enjoy the Halloween Party, Gary the Gadget Guy is concerned by the large thunderstorm that shows no signs of stopping. He said that we’ll need to act quicker before the thunderstorm gets even worse! He issued these safety tips (see pictures below) before disappearing into the hills for an audience with Sensei. In English, he’s gonna talk about this with Sensei!
The Halloween Igloo contest winners have finally have been announced! The Grand Prize winners received 50,000 coins, and they are Lume Pall, Puppygirl476, Pengman66, Bob54472, 2007glitter, 01katy, Rtl1, Sharkguy95, Willy676 & Zachcody7889. Well, that’s it for Club Penguin’s Penguin Times issue #211. I tried posting it as early as I could! Are you all enjoying the Halloween Party? Is it fun? Pretty dull that non-members cannot go into the Secret Lab or Haunted House. I hope we can still meet Gary the Gadget Guy. He visited last year in the Lab, and this time let’s hope he doesn’t ALWAYS go in the lab.

I was watching an advertise on TV asking to vote for The BAFTA Kids’ Vote. And it had lots of categories to vote from, and I saw one…. web. And guess what was in it? Club Penguin! I thought I’d post about it and share it with you, so that we can all vote for Club Penguin! Note that Disney might suck, but this is about Club Penguin.
I do not know if this is applicable in the US, but in the UK, go to http://disneychannel.co.uk/ and you can vote. I will take you step-by-step via images to show you how to vote! Note that you can skip steps 1 & 2 and go straight to the site if you D NOT wanna give Disney Channel’s website hits!
1. Go to http://disneychannel.co.uk/ and there should be in the What’s Hot column near the right should be a button that says vote for your favourite Disney shows, movies and websites, with the BAFTA Kids’ Vote logo. This will lead you to another Disney page that lists some of the nominations.
If you are skipping steps 1 & 2 then go to this link and go to Step 3 – http://www.baftakidsvote.org/
2. In the nominations, you should see ClubPenguin.com, click that and a video will come with a description about ClubPenguin.com. You can read/watch the description & video if you want, but if you do not want to, click the button that says VOTE FOR ClubPenguin.com.
This is the step you should be at if you skipped the Disney Channel website part!
3. You will be lead to the BAFTA Kids’ Vote website – http://www.baftakidsvote.org/ – and it will say ”Click here to enter site and Vote now!” Click the button, and it will lead you through a numerous options – which are very kid-friendly!
4. It will say to Select a Character. You can select any character you want, but I chose that green guy with the two legs, one giant eye and headphones. You need to drag it to the VIP entrance, which should open once you’ve started dragging your character. Feel privileged to walk the red carpet .
4.5. It will ask you to write in your name. You don’t have to do your real name. You can if you want, but it’s just for fun. I did my penguin name for the purpose of this.
5. If you are listening to Dick & Doms commentary, forget about it ! After writing your name, you will be lead to to a hall, and there will be 4 doors to go through. You need to go through the WEB door. Click the WEB door.
6. It will come up with a list of options to choose. There will be Cartoon Network, Girls go Games (blah!), Disney (meh!), MindJoly, Moshi Monsters, CBBC, Neopets, Nick & some others. You need to look for Club Penguin and click the VOTE button. Feel free to watch the clip.
7. After that, it will confirm if you wanna vote for Club Penguin. You can only cast ONE vote in the web category. Tick the Yes box (it doesn’t matter if your under 7 or over 14), and then click VOTE NOW. Once you click that button, it’s permanent. It will confirm it once again.
Check back here on 30th November to see if Club Penguin! If it does, I will make a whole post about it! If it doesn’t, then I will just say the winner in the bottom of a post. Do you hope that Club Penguin will win? Note that you didn’t have to vote for Club Penguin, but it would be cool if you did. If you know anyone that can vote for Club Penguin, tell them to go to CPP and check out these instructions .

The party ends on November 5, so you have plenty time to explore the rooms, the Candy Hunt & get the items! Wanna start with the free items? After that, we’ll go to the Candy Hunt cheats!
Non-Member Free Item
The Non-Member free item are a pair of Pumpkin Antennae, and are located in the Plaza! Just so you know . . . . they’re free . Not a bad item, but not even a good item. Many thought that the Candy Basket would return, but it turns out that it hasn’t returned. Do you like my Halloween outfit? It’s the ”Pumpkin Antennae”, ”Candy Basket” & “Orange Belt”.
Candy Hunt
The first candy is in the Ski Lodge Attic, in the pumpkin near the sofas.
The second candy is at the Dock in the tall pumpkin in the top-right corner of the pumpkin patch with the light glowing.
The third candy is in the Pet Shop, on the top where the Red Puffle is.
The fourth candy is at the Cove. Click the ghosts (the one on the banner for the Ghost Stories) book for the candy.
The fifth candy is in the Underground Pool on the trim.
The sixth candy is at the Soccer Pitch in the stadium lights.
The seventh candy is in the Forest behind the bushes.
The eighth candy is in the pot in the Mine Shack.
When you’ve got all your Candy, and you’ve completed the Halloween Candy hunt, with all 8 treats, go back to your Pumpkin Inventory in the top-right corner next to the ”moderator” badge, and click Claim Prize! Your prize is a ”Jack O’ Lanterns Background”. Pretty cool, huh? Could of been something else besides a background, but atleast it’s not old!
Secret Lab
The first secret room is last year’s Party Room, which is the Secret Lab. Before, it was accessed via the Book Room, and you had to pull a trigger, which was a candle, but now it’s a bit different. If you go into the Mine Shack, there is a lamp from the cave which you enter via the Cave. Pull that and the walls will open up with a flight of stairs, leading you to the Lab!
Once your in it will look like this.
Click the piece of paper in the bottom right corner.
Then you can buy all these different items
Haunted House
The second Party Room is a new room, and is the Haunted House. It is located in the Mine, where the place has been configured into a ”graveyard-like” place. And you will see the Haunted House in front of you. Please not that the Haunted House is more MEMBERS ONLY. You can click all the windows and they will open, but that’s not actually that surprising. There’s a place that leads you inside the mine.

Go up the left staircase and head over to the free box to receive a Pumpkin Head.

It seems that Club Penguin is down and is not loading. Why did it have to happen on the day of the party?!?! Is Club Penguin working for you? Only some hours ago I was on Club Penguin and it was working fine. This has probably just happened, not more that an hour ago probably. Maybe Club Penguin just have some bugs. Club Penguin’s 4th Anniversary Party has arrived! And remember everyone, it is here for only 1 day! It’s now been 4 years since Club Penguin was created, and I really like all the decorations! Just to tell you, the Party Hat’s colours are not green, yellow & blue . Can you guess already what they are? Possibly, but anyway, check out the TOWN! The outside of the Coffee Shop is decorated, with some balloons & things on the sides. Lets go inside!
The party’s being held in the Coffee Shop. It had been a tradition for the Anniversary Party to be held in the Coffee Shop, because it’s one of Club Penguin’s oldest rooms! And the decorations actually work! Like by clicking the Cream Soda barrel, it picks up a cup and fills it up. Click on the cupcakes, and they disappear one by one. Same with some other things. Now do you wanna know how to get the Party Hat?
To get the Party Hat, it is hidden in a very good place! IT’S IN THE PIÑATA! Now the Party Hat is in the Piñata, so all you have to do is click it a few times, and the Pinata will just explode and a Party Hat will drop on the floor! You’ve seen puffles on the walls haven’t you? The Blue & Purple puffles. So what do you think it means?
That’s right! The Party Hat is a kind of Purple/Pink & Blue! That’s why you have been seeing lots of decorations that are those two colours, along with some colours being green, but green’s not in the 4th Year Party Hat! So the colour of the 4th Year Party Hat are ”purple/pink & blue”! Do you like the colours? I like them a bit.
