I was watching an advertise on TV asking to vote for The BAFTA Kids’ Vote. And it had lots of categories to vote from, and I saw one…. web. And guess what was in it? Club Penguin! I thought I’d post about it and share it with you, so that we can all vote for Club Penguin! Note that Disney might suck, but this is about Club Penguin.
I do not know if this is applicable in the US, but in the UK, go to http://disneychannel.co.uk/ and you can vote. I will take you step-by-step via images to show you how to vote! Note that you can skip steps 1 & 2 and go straight to the site if you D NOT wanna give Disney Channel’s website hits!
1. Go to http://disneychannel.co.uk/ and there should be in the What’s Hot column near the right should be a button that says vote for your favourite Disney shows, movies and websites, with the BAFTA Kids’ Vote logo. This will lead you to another Disney page that lists some of the nominations.
If you are skipping steps 1 & 2 then go to this link and go to Step 3 – http://www.baftakidsvote.org/
2. In the nominations, you should see ClubPenguin.com, click that and a video will come with a description about ClubPenguin.com. You can read/watch the description & video if you want, but if you do not want to, click the button that says VOTE FOR ClubPenguin.com.
This is the step you should be at if you skipped the Disney Channel website part!
3. You will be lead to the BAFTA Kids’ Vote website – http://www.baftakidsvote.org/ – and it will say ”Click here to enter site and Vote now!” Click the button, and it will lead you through a numerous options – which are very kid-friendly!
4. It will say to Select a Character. You can select any character you want, but I chose that green guy with the two legs, one giant eye and headphones. You need to drag it to the VIP entrance, which should open once you’ve started dragging your character. Feel privileged to walk the red carpet .
4.5. It will ask you to write in your name. You don’t have to do your real name. You can if you want, but it’s just for fun. I did my penguin name for the purpose of this.
5. If you are listening to Dick & Doms commentary, forget about it ! After writing your name, you will be lead to to a hall, and there will be 4 doors to go through. You need to go through the WEB door. Click the WEB door.
6. It will come up with a list of options to choose. There will be Cartoon Network, Girls go Games (blah!), Disney (meh!), MindJoly, Moshi Monsters, CBBC, Neopets, Nick & some others. You need to look for Club Penguin and click the VOTE button. Feel free to watch the clip.
7. After that, it will confirm if you wanna vote for Club Penguin. You can only cast ONE vote in the web category. Tick the Yes box (it doesn’t matter if your under 7 or over 14), and then click VOTE NOW. Once you click that button, it’s permanent. It will confirm it once again.
Check back here on 30th November to see if Club Penguin! If it does, I will make a whole post about it! If it doesn’t, then I will just say the winner in the bottom of a post. Do you hope that Club Penguin will win? Note that you didn’t have to vote for Club Penguin, but it would be cool if you did. If you know anyone that can vote for Club Penguin, tell them to go to CPP and check out these instructions .
