Rockhopper has been here since Fri May 22, and he’ll be leaving on the 31st, so the CPT got to interview the guy.

CPT: Rockhopper, what’s happening here?

RH: Ahoy, matey! I brought greenery but it’s been growin’!

CPT: You brought some plants?

RH: Ye be a quick-thinking penguin! Aye, they be beauties, but they’re gettin’ big!

CPT: It looks like you could use some help

RH: Arr, ’tis true. I’d be wishin’  for me penguin friends to take some of these off me ship!

CPT: Why this sudden interest in plants, Rockhopper?

RH: Avast! They remind me of home. But they be growin’ too fast and ’tis hard to dance a jig on the deck!

CPT: Will you be waddling about the island during your visit?

RH: Aye, I be lookin’ forward to partying with me buddies and finding new crewmates. Now where be me puffle? Yarr? Yarr?

CPT: Err. . . So head to the Migrator to lend a flipper. And remember to say ”Arr!” if you see the Captain!

Now remember in the last issue, Club Penguin said the Sensei will be making this thing to view your progression in Card-Jitsu. You will have this board in your inventory which you can click to see how your doing in Card-Jitsu, or by clicking one in the Dojo, Ninja Hideout or Courtyard.

And the Dojo Igloo Contest will be going from Wed Jun 1 – Mon Jun 13. All you have to do is decorate your Dojo igloo by buying one from the Ninja Hideout catalog! The prize for the 10 winners is a massive 25,000 coins! And for the 10 runner-ups, 15,000 coins! The 20 winners will be announced in the Penguin Times on June 18! Better get to it from June 1!

In the In-Focus, it is a tour round the Captain’s ship itself, the Migrator! And two more questions in Ask Aunt Arctic.

This weeks secret is about the special dances you can do with specific clothes. Like the one which you put on the Blacksmith Apron and press ‘D’ on your keyboard!

Penguin Times Issue #188

Rockhopper’s arrival date has been confirmed, and since everything in Club Penguin is usually on Fridays, Rockhopper will arrive to Club Penguin on Friday, May 22 – Sunday May 21! And when he comes tomorrow, we’ll see what he’s doing with those ”plants” of his . . . .

And Sensei’s cooking up some Card-Jitsu plan in a language we don’t understand, but it is something about seeing your progression in Card-Jitsu with your online card collection.

Penguin Times Issue #187

The Medieval Party 09 continues till Sunday May 17th, so try to enjoy those two more days, with the new Better Iggs Catalog out tomorrow!

And May’s stage play, The Haunting of the Viking Opera is going extremely well! Check it out! It ends on Thursday June 11!

Did you know that there were suspicious rumours that Rockhopper’s last visit was in Feb 09, and is supposed to come back every 2 months, but didn’t come in April . . . but he’s coming this month! RH has done many, many things for us! So we all should look forward for him!

How could we forget the WARNING: SECRET! I don’t know if these have came before, but it’s about Puffles going into games with you. Like the Purple Puffle dances with you in Dance Contest, and the Pink Puffle puts on their scuba gear, and dive underwater in Aqua Grabber!

• Rockhopper Visits Club Penguin!!!

I am quite glad the newspaper is over. I was only exited about the ”Rockhopper” part. It’s about time he visits! I think because he’s been busy in the human world, in a place called Florida in Walt Disney World with Bambadee. Probably when he takes his ship back to Rockhopper Island after it all ends, he’ll take a hike to visit us! I do want to see if he gives out that Exclusive Background! More information about RH will be here on CPP soon!

Penguin Times Issue #183

As you can see from the picture . . . Sledding News! It’s been a VERY, VERY long time since there’s been any sledding-news, but from April 24, penguins (probably Members :() will be able to go to the top of the Ski Hill, and go buy new & improved toboggans (sled). Bet more info about that will be coming soon!

Next, DJ Cadence reveals that there will be new tracks to dance to in Cadence’s Dance Contest (Only Member penguins) from April 24! That makes six tunes altogether! (CPP will have the tunes here exclusively for Non-Members).

Aunt Arctic writes about the winners of the Penguin Play Awards. I am regretting everyday to say it, but Quest for the Golden Puffle won gold in four, and Fairy Fables for Best Costume :|.

Get ready to be walking the Red Carpet officially when the results of the winning plays of each five category are chosen! Now what to wear . . . what to wear? Until Thursday, April 9th everyone . . . . .

Now the new five sculpture winners have been chosen for next week! Well done Yacou123, Zsanett, Eggy1plant, Imagen & Extraboum!

Now starting from tomorrow (Friday, March 27), signs will be put to show you where to buy certain essentials from where. Where can you buy the grey-fish lure rod? Where can you get the surfboard that makes you faster while Catchin’ Waves? You will be-able to get directions from these signs!

The signs for Sled Racing will be at the Ski Hill, at the cove for Catchin’ Waves, at the Dock for Hydro-Hopper & in the Ski Lodge for Ice Fishing!

Now Gary is inventing boxes – Oh, I mean blocks (not) for the April Fools Party 2009 that tele-port you to another place on Club Penguin! Which is very cool! Also, it has now been officially confirmed that Gary WILL be appearing at the Stage to check up on his Switchbox 3000! Note if you see him!
